Week 4
Chapter 5 focuses on the importance of curriculum. Stressing how curriculum is everywhere, but depending on how you structure it is how it becomes effective or not. I personally saw how important curriculum was when I was structuring my own curriculum and figuring out what exactly I wanted to teach. I know that I didn’t want my kids to be bored and neither did I. Reading the different stories and experiences of other teachers is inspiring and makes teaching more tangible, and inviting for students. I think thats what’s important about bridging arts and education together. Encompassing two different worlds and learning as a unit
